    The Western Music Society consists of a band by the name of "The Arpeggios" which has members from Classes 7 to 12. The society meets every week where the boys learn to play instruments like Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboard, Piano and Percussion instruments like Drums, Congo, Octapad and many Side Rhythm instruments. The band performs during the Prize Giving, Gibson Memorial Debate and Quiz, and many more special functions hosted by the School. It also participates in the Inter School Music Competitions and IPSC Cultural Fests.


    Deserving members of the Band are honoured with Cravats and Scholarships.


    The Boys from classes 4 to 11 also learn Western music as a hobby, for which they have a lesson every day. During these lessons they learn to read music through staff notations for different instruments.
