Mr Ritwiz Gaur is bestowed with the Gold Medal and Academic Excellence Award Certificate for topping the Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati University by securing first rank in post graduate law degree course of Master of Law - 2014. He was felicitated at the Convocation ceremony of University on 05 Oct 15 by Shri Kalyan Singh, H E Governor of Rajasthan and Chancellor of University. Mr Ritwiz Gaur is a Biology Teacher at Mayo College, Ajmer and Housemaster of Kashmir House.

Mr S Sriram has been selected by Microsoft to represent the country in the Global Educator forum for Innovative Educators at Redmond, Washington, USA from 28 April 15 to 01 May 15. A total of five educators from India have been chosen to represent this prestigious event. MR VIRENDRA KUMAR SHARMA (YOGA INSTRUCTOR) COMPLETED THE FOUNDATION COURSE IN YOGA AYURVEDA
Mr. Virendra Kumar Sharma has successfully completed the Foundation Course in Yoga Ayurveda (FCYA) from Kaivalyadhama (Shreeman Madhava Yoga Mandir Samiti), Lonavala with outstanding merit. Ayurveda is the sub-Veda of Atharveda and the word means the science of life. It is the complete medical system which has the unique way of understanding the body and of interpreting and improving its health. The holistic treatment is now available at the Mayo College Yoga Centre.
MR ALOK SHARMA QUALIFIES AS NATIONAL PITCH CURATOR
Mr Alok Sharma has qualified as a National Pitch Curator of Board of Control for Cricket in India after clearing the exam securing 80% marks. He is amongst two individuals selected for the post of Pitch Curator from Rajasthan by the Board so far.
CBSE AWARD FOR TEACHERS 2012
AWARDED TO SHRI SURINDER KUMAR, VICE PRINCIPAL
Shri Surinder Kumar, Vice Principal, has been conferred with the 'CBSE Award to Teachers for the year 2012' by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India in public recognition of his valuable and commendable services rendered to the community for the cause of Education as a Teacher of outstanding merit. The award was presented to Shri Surinder Kumar by the Hon'ble Union Minister, Human Resource Development (HRD), Dr M M Pallam Raju on 4 Sep 2013 at the India International Centre, New Delhi. Shri Jitin Prasada and Dr Shashi Tharoor, both Ministers of State for Human Resource Development also graced the occasion.
MR RITWIZ GAUR IS AWARDED FIRST PRIZE FOR STATE LEVEL ESSAY COMPEITION
Mr Ritwiz Gaur is awarded First Prize for the state-level essay competition on “Right to information is a powerful weapon of democracy” sponsored by Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Government of India, New Delhi – under centrally sponsored scheme of effective implementation of Right to Information Act, 2005 through improving transparency and accountability in Government. On 06 May 13, Mr Ritwiz Gaur was felicitated with a certificate and cash prize at Officer Training Institute (HCM RIPA), Jaipur by Shri Wajahat Habibullah, the chairperson of the National Commission on Minorities (an ex-Chief Information Commissioner of the Government of India). The occasion was also graced by Chairperson, State Human Right Commission, Senior Bureaucrats and Minister of States.
MS SUMAN GAUTAM PRESENTS PROJECT REPORT AT UNITED NATIONS CONFERENCE 2012
Ms Suman Gautam, Geography Department, presented a project report on â€˜Sustainable use of water resource at Mayo Collegeâ€™ at the United Nation Conference on Sustainable Development at Rio de Janerio, Brazil on 29th May 2012. The project report highlights that Mayo College though located in the driest state in India is able to cope with water scarcity during dry periods and draught due to sustainable use of its water resources.

GREEN SCHOOL AWARD 2012-13
Go-Green project was started by CSE (Centre of Science and Environment) to create awareness about our environment in Schools in India and abroad.
Mayo College was awarded the Green Leaf (Green School Award). It secured the seventh position in the 'Change Maker School Category' out of six hundred and fifty Schools which participated in this category at the award ceremony held on 12th April 2013 at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
The boys who worked on the Project were Madhur Gandhi, Manasth Jain, Sachit Sethia Mihir Tibrewal, Madhav Pradhan, Aditya Jain, Digvijay Singh, Rajdeep Anand, Satyam Bhardwaj, Shikhar Agarwal, Janmajay Singh, Bharat Tondon and Siddharth Chugh. The Teacher in charge was Dr (Mrs) Roma Pradhan.
MR S SRIRAM GETS NATIONAL AWARD FOR INFORMATION COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) FROM PRESIDENT OF INDIA
Mr S Sriram, IT Administrator & HOD-Computer Science at Mayo College, Ajmer has been awarded the National Award for Teachers for Innovation in Information Communication Technology (ICT) for the year 2010 by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development, Govt. of India. This Award is to felicitate those teachers who have enhanced student learning effectively and innovatively integrating technology supported learning into the school curriculum & subject teaching thereby promoting enquiry-based cooperative-collaborative learning using ICT among their students.
The Award was given to Mr S Sriram by the Honorable President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee on 5th September, 2012, Teachers' Day at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. He was awarded a Silver Medal, a commendation certificate, a Laptop and ICT Kit from the Government of India. All winners will form a community of resource persons through networking and shall work towards promotion of ICT based initiatives in Schools.

Mr S Sriram received the Research and Innovation Excellence Awards 2012 instituted by Knowledge Research development & Welfare Group (KRD & WG) from Dr Anil Wali, Managing Director, Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT), Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi on 31 Aug 2012. He also attended and spoke on the Seminar based on the theme, "The contribution of Research and Innovation in Inclusive economic and social development: Introspection and the road ahead". Knowledge Resource Development & Welfare Group (KRD & WG) is a non profit, social benefit organization operating at the national level having International footprint and is committed to inclusive and holistic integration and development of the Knowledge Resource of the country.

Mayo College, Ajmer has been awarded the "Computer Literacy Excellence Award for Schools – 2005". This has been instituted by Government of India, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. The award carries a cash prize of Rs.1.5 lacs.
